Pier Luigi Guida, graduate in engineering and post-graduate in informatics, devoted his career to Italian Railways, holding senior management roles in project, program management and procurement for mission-critical systems, traffic management and corporate business re-engineering. He is actually consultant, trainer and university lecturer, coordinates the project management committee of UNI (Italian Standardization Body) and participates in ISO TC258, delivering international project management standards; he contributed to editing of ISO 21502. He earned ISIPM, Prince2, PMP, PgMP credentials, is a Certified Project Manager and assessor for project manager certification ruled by the Italian accreditation body (Accredia). He is a member of ISIPM (Italian Institute of Project Management) professional association and scientific editor at “Il Project Manager”, leading Italian journal. He has authored three books on project management and several refereed papers.
