Benedetto Marsili is a lawyer and holds a PhD in Administrative Law. He obtained his degree from the University of Naples Federico II with first-class honours. During his PhD, he took part in numerous conferences and academic seminars and undertook a six-month research placement at the University of Seville in Spain. His research focuses primarily on the regulation of the ‘Golden Power’ and, more generally, on issues relating to public economic law, with particular attention to the relationship between public authorities, strategic economic sectors and the protection of national interests – subjects on which he has also published several academic articles in Class A journals.
