Domenico Asprone is a Professor of Construction Engineering at the University of Naples Federico II. His research and teaching focus on innovation in the construction sector, with particular emphasis on digitalisation, BIM (Building Information Modelling) methodologies, the sustainability of materials and structures, and the resilience of civil infrastructure. He is the coordinator of the degree programme in Digital Technologies for Construction at the University of Naples Federico II. He also holds coordinating roles in national and international working groups and technical-scientific committees on BIM and sustainability in construction. He is a member of the monitoring committee for the implementation of Digital Information Management in works contracts at the Higher Council for Public Works.
