Branislav Hudec works at the Public Procurement Office as the Director General of the Methodology and Education Section. He is responsible for providing methodological guidance to participants in the public procurement process, professionalization and education for contracting authorities, as well as suppliers. He organizes conferences, workshops, training sessions, and is responsible for publishing a magazine on public procurement. He has over 20 years of experience in public procurement, including experience at the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, where he served as the Director of the Public Procurement Department. He has also worked at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic (controlling EU-funded contracts) and in the private sector (preparing bids and applying review procedures). He studied law at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava. Alongside his practical work, he is also involved in teaching and publishing on public procurement topics.
