Giuseppina Galluzzo is an International and Institutional Relations Manager at Consip S.p.A., the Italian Central Purchasing Body. A senior expert in sustainable public procurement, ESG and public value creation, she promotes sustainability, innovation and social impact through public procurement policies and initiatives. She leads the Community of Practice on Social Procurement within the European Commission’s Big Buyers Working Together (BBWT) project and was appointed Italy’s Ambassador for the WeBuySocialEU initiative. She has contributed to European and national working groups on sustainable and ethical procurement and supported the development of Italy’s Green Public Procurement framework. Giuseppina lectures in executive and postgraduate programmes and regularly contributes to international capacity-building initiatives, including the World Bank Global Procurement Summit. She is co-author of the Handbook for the Application of Social Criteria in Public Procurement (Maggioli) and is actively involved in AI-driven innovation at Consip.
