Tor Gausemel Kristensen is CEO of Bodø Spektrum and an experienced public-sector executive with a background in digitalisation, innovation and sustainable development. He has been involved in several European research and innovation projects spanning logistics, circular economy and energy efficiency, including SOLOMON, CityLoops and INDU-ZERO.
As Bodø’s Demonstration Manager in the EU-funded Horizon 2020 project CityLoops, he led work involving a 3D digital twin used to visualise and test scenarios for the development of Bodø’s new city district, supporting data-driven planning, circular resource management and stakeholder involvement.
Tor is also a frequent speaker and lecturer on technology, digital transformation and innovation, presenting to academic institutions, public-sector organisations and private industry in Norway and internationally. His work invovolves translating complex data into material suited for better decision making. He holds a master’s degree in Strategy and Business Development, complemented by studies in big data, knowledge management and leadership.
