Ornella Di Benedetto earned a Degree in Law from “La Sapienza” University in Rome and was admitted to the Italian bar as Avvocato.

She obtained a Master’s Degree (cum laude) in German law from the “Johann Wolfgang Goethe” University in Frankfurt, where she worked as a legal consultant in a leading business law firm specializing in corporate and commercial law with a strong focus on cross border legal relations between Italian and German companies.

Thereafter she practiced for over fifteen years, as a lawyer at leading international law firms in Italy i.a. in the role of Counsel and Head of German Desk, assisting international clients and businesses from German speaking countries (DACH) and consolidating her expertise in Italian corporate, commercial and energy law.

She currently holds the position of Director of the Commercial Section at the Austrian Embassy in Rome, providing widespread legal assistance to Austrian companies operating in the Italian market with regard to Italian company, commercial and procurement law issues.
